Consider a microchip as an ID choice for kitties who do not like wearing collars. It is implanted about the same szie as a grain of rice just beneath kitty's skin with a hypodermic needle.

Cost varies for but range is between $25 to $60 for microchip and implantation. Fees to database registry are extra.
